Oh, I just discovered a wonderful artist who I never heard of before. (I love internet when that happens!)
The Netherland (3D)-artist Anne Ten Donkelaar does amazing, beautiful and very small-detailed work, that includes a lot of flowers and butterflies among other things. She deconstructs them and put them together again in a new way, creating her own universe. I love that in art!
Her series of work called “Flower constructions” and “Broken butterflies” are fantastic! A mix of nature objects, combined with cut out prints and a bit of magic and a lot of thin needles to hold it all together!
I hope I some day will have the chance to see an exhibition of her work.
This are just a few examples. See much more at her website!
Thank you Illustration Age for sharing a post about her.
