Game inspired cross stitch by Per Fhager

When I last visited Stockholm I went to Tekniska museet, the National Museum of Science and Technology, and visited the exhibition Game art. The aim for the exhibition is to celebrate the computer and video game culture. Several young creators had contributed with art in different techniques that is inspired by gaming. The quality was somewhat shifting, but it was amusing and fun to watch.

I especially liked Per Fhagers embroidered Nintendo game scenes. Well executed, funny, nostalgic and a bit crazy…

At the moment he is having a solo exhibition in London at the Belmacz Gallery and will soon open a solo exhibition in Stockholm at Stene Projects. If you like to read more you can find an interview at Game Scenes.
