Stripes! Inspired by the sea shore

This summer I felt such a longing for painting watercolour stripes, just because it is meditative and calming to only concentrate on colour and basic shapes. This particular pattern is inspired by the colours by the sea an early morning. Many tones of blue and yellow with a hint of pink. The lines are deliberately not straight, I wanted a soft non-perfect feeling.

This hand painted stripe pattern is sold at Society6. They have a lot of new products for interior design, like window curtains and duvet covers.
