More childrens picture books written by Astrid Lindgren

Yesterday I visited a big outdoor flea market in Malmö, “Barnloppis” in Folkets park. Families selling outgrown clothes and toys to each other, and I found two good books by Astrid Lindgren. A nice adding to my collection.

Astrid Lindgren

“Känner du Pippi Långstrump” is a picture book from 1947 with great illustrations by Ingrid Vang Nyman. The short text in this book sums up the action from a longer text book about Pippi. (The first book about Pippi was published 1945.) This copy is from Rabén & Sjögren 1969.

Nils Karlsson Pyssling, Astrid Lindgren, Ilon Wikland

“Nils Karlsson Pyssling flyttar in” is a sweet and a bit sad story, I remember reading it when I was young. Astrid Lindgren and illustrations by Ilon Wikland 1969, but this copy is from 1974, Rabén & Sjögren.
